Is this honey raw and unprocessed?
Yes. Our wild honey is never heated or filtered. It is cold-extracted directly from forest hives, which preserves the natural enzymes, bee pollen and propolis that commercial processing removes.
Why has my honey crystallised?
Crystallisation is normal and is actually a sign that honey is raw. Processed honey stays liquid because it has been heated. To soften it, stand the jar in warm water. Never microwave it.
How can I check if honey is pure at home?
Raw honey is thick and drips slowly in a continuous thread rather than breaking into drops. It does not dissolve instantly in cold water and settles at the bottom first. Natural crystallisation over time is another reliable sign.
How should I store raw wild honey?
Store at room temperature away from direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate, as cold speeds up crystallisation. Always use a dry spoon, since moisture can cause fermentation.
