What makes food organic?

Organic food is grown and processed without synthetic pesticides, chemical fertilisers or artificial additives. In practice, the label matters less than what happens between the farm and the jar. Most of what is sold as organic in Pakistan is ordinary produce with a sticker on it. We work the other way around: we start with how a product is sourced and processed, and let that decide what goes on the label.

Our honey is cold-extracted and packed without heating or filtering, so the natural enzymes and pollen stay intact. Our oats and seed mixes contain no refined sugar, artificial flavours or preservatives. Our pinni is made the traditional way with desi ghee and gur rather than hydrogenated fat.

Raw wild honey — harvested from forest hives and packed unheated and unfiltered. Natural crystallisation over time is normal and is one of the clearest signs that honey has not been processed.

How to store organic food

Products made without preservatives behave differently from supermarket equivalents. Keep honey at room temperature away from sunlight and never refrigerate it. Store oats, seeds and pinni in airtight containers in a cool, dry place, and always use a dry spoon. Seeds and nuts contain natural oils, so an airtight seal keeps them fresh for much longer.
